Another Saturday, another site, another Legionella Risk Assessment…
This Saturday I was carrying out the survey for a Legionella Risk Assessment at Kingsbury High School's Lower School.
Kingsbury is s a large, complex site with a variety of water systems to inspect. I worked from down rooftop water tanks down to basement plant rooms, tracing and documenting each part of the system to build a complete picture of the site's water infrastructure.
Of course, the work doesn't stop when you leave the site. Every note, photo and observation now has to be turned into a detailed Legionella Risk Assessment report. I've spent today writing it up and will be finalising the first draft tomorrow before it goes through its initial review.
No two sites are ever the same, and every assessment presents different challenges and teaches me something new, helping build my experience one project at a time.
Next up is another school in the Harrow area this Saturday before I head off interrailing around Europe in a couple of weeks. Plenty to get done before then!
